About Nel

Nel Creative is the brand of Lauren Deakin. After completing her degree in printed textiles Lauren went on to work in commercial print design where she designed for well known brands such as Aldi, Wilko, Asda & Tesco.

Lauren has designed everything from cards to gift wrap and children interiors. Her style is modern with a quirky and fun vibe. Her main sources of inspiration range from children's wear and interiors, general home and fashion to the good outdoors.

She loves pops of colour and using the pastel and charcoal brushes in Photoshop, incorporating brush marks, pen marks and patterns into her work.
