About Brian

Brian is one of the most renowned painters for British Wildlife in the country. After leaving the Royal Air Force, Brian pursued a career in publishing, where he worked as a Design Manager at Thomas Forman and then for 27 years with Bemrose of Derby as Art Director. In 1994, following a highly successful one man exhibition, Brian took early retirement to pursue a painting career producing, mainly, studies of British wildlife in it's natural habitat.

He lives and works on the Nottinghamshire Derbyshire border, drawing inspiration and reference from the stunning local scenery and habitat. Painting exclusively in acrylic on watercolour board, using this medium for its quick drying, spontaneous qualities.

Brian’s style is delicate with incredible attention to detail and vibrant colours, making it perfect for cross product licensing.
