About Angela

Angela Holland is a published illustrator and writer living and working in Nottingham, UK. She illustrates for jigsaw puzzles, cards and wrapping paper, calendars, magazine editorials, ceramics, surface design, children’s books and textiles.

Angela’s jigsaw puzzle illustrations have been published by Ravensburger Puzzles, Otter House, Trevell ‘La Box’ and Pieces & Peace. Her card illustrations have been published by Woodmansterne, Museums and Galleries, The Great British Card Company, ICG Cards, Waterstones and various charities.

She has won awards for her jigsaw illustration work with Ravensburger at ‘The Big Christmas Press Show’ at the Business Design Centre, London.

Angela has illustrated and written for Ladybug Magazine, Cricket Media, Womankind Magazine, The World Health Organization, and Uppercase Magazine.

Her artwork is a mixture of traditional and digital media, painted and printed textures, which are adapted to create a collage of depth, texture, and fantasy. Her character artwork has been described as ‘quirky and fun,’ with keen attention to small details.
