About Andrew

Andy studied graphic design at college and has been illustrating ever since, working extensively in the greetings card and children’s book illustration trade. He likes to work in lots of different styles and has had to adapt to an ever changing publishing trade through the years.

Andy is currently the illustrator for the popular Spot the Dog children's books and has been illustrating all the new Spot books for the last 10 years.

Andy works digitally, but also still likes to work traditionally when the opportunity arises and is also an accomplished landscape artist. He is also a very experienced paper engineer and model builder, working on simple ledge pops to intricate hand assembled pop up books, and producing push out and build models for renowned publishing companies, and many pop up books for Disney.

Andy has examples of his artwork dating back to when he was 4 years old and has always had a genuine love for being creative, something which he hopes to continue for many more years.
