Bold, vibrant and full of life, Marcella’s hand drawn art is inspired by nature, patterns, flora, fauna, animals and botanicals.
Marcella is a UK-based illustrator and pattern designer. Her wish is to immerse you in a world of tropical saturated colour – fun escapism.
Her vibrant and invigorating work bridges the gap between textile design and illustration, drawing inspiration from nature and its inherent beauty.
Describing her approach, Marcella says: “I enjoy celebrating the extraordinary diversity of nature, its shapes and forms, as well as its bold, and sometimes unexpected, colour.
My work is often mixed media, but the use of watercolour (alongside inks) features heavily – resulting in ornate and eye-catching pieces.”
