New Artist: Justine Kimmer. We are thrilled to announce that Justine Kimmer has joined our agency.
Justine is a freelance illustrator working from her studio at home in West Sussex.
After graduation from Art College Justine worked as a graphic designer in the gift industry.
Later she made the bold move to become a freelance artist illustrating primarily for the greeting card and paper goods markets.
Over the years Justine has built her reputation and has had great success in this sector licensing many images to publishers in the UK and overseas.
Her Christmas work has been very popular especially within the US market and her work has been found in many
UK high street stores including Waitrose and WHSmith.
Justine primarily works traditionally with acrylic paint.
She enjoys using the dry brush technique because she loves the textures that can be built up, layer upon layer.
She often finishes her work off digitally adding finishing touches in Photoshop.
Justine’s inspiration is drawn from decorative objects and pattern, she loves to produce colourful quirky and whimsical imagery.
